Gabba Sporting Products was established in 1978, and continues to be a family owned and operated company. Over this period of operation, primarily with cricket equipment, we have developed our own brand 'GABBA', which is a registered trade name.

Gabba Sporting Products produces 1st class, handcrafted English Willow cricket bats at our very own cricket bat factory right here in Brisbane. We have developed the unique ‘Demountable Sports Net System’ which we manufacture and hold the patent for in Australia.

Gabba sporting products was the first company to introduce synthetic grass into the country. We now distribute and install all-throughout Australia, so much so that it is now known colloquially throughout the industry as ‘Gabba Grass.'

Gabba Sporting Products continue as the major sponsors of Warehouse Cricket, Gold Coast Cricket,  Beenleigh and LJ Hooker League (Tweed Heads Cricket) and have been a proud sponsor of Queensland Cricket for over 20 years. We are also proud to announce a partnership with both ACGS and TSS in the QLD GPS competition as Platinum Sponsors.

Our company’s aim is to provide quality products at a competitive price whilst still offering service and advice to all customers. We want the game that we all love to be affordable and able to be enjoyed by all players at any level.

In the last twelve months, we were awarded tender to complete more exciting and revolutionary major projects. Gabba were selected to design and install match-day and practice field protective netting at the brand new Gold Coast AFL Stadium (QLD) in time for the Suns’ season launch. The system provides protection for the players, coaching staff and fans alike, yet offers the unique ability of complete retraction for summer-time cricket duties.

Since our last edition, we have also constructed a new indoor training facility for Campbelltown Cricket Club (NSW) an indoor cricket and netball centre at Fernvale (QLD) and  resurfaced numerous Basketball/Tennis/Netball courts at Waverly College (NSW) and Lismore (NSW)Further projects have also been completed in Christchurch. (NZ) As this catalogue goes to press, Gabba has embarked on another busy off-season with further projects in Darwin (NT), Perth (WA) as well as right across NSW and QLD in readiness for the fast approaching season.
