Gabba Visual Reports

Gabba project reports
Newington, Alice Springs, Aspley AFL
Newington
Newington College in Sydney now posses top class, fully demountable cricket
training facilities for both their synthetic and turf surfaces.
Gabba laid down new synthetic grass spanning over 40 meters in width to provide a
facility that is 13 lanes wide that incorporate our patented storage boxes.
The turf block also uses 9 of our boxes to provide the curators with many options
for wicket placement.
All of the posts were manufactured in aluminium, allowing the whole facility to be
dismantled prior to weekends to allow for more space.
If security and/or storage is a concern for your school, club or association, contact
Gabba for a solution with our patented system.
Aspley AFL
Aspley AFL, like many other clubs, were having issues with lost balls and time
delays behind the goal posts. Gabba was asked to come up with a solution at both
ends of their ground to rectify the problem.
We drafted and engineered a design that spanned 25 meters behind the goal posts
at a height of 12 meters, now stopping almost all kicks at the goal, well directed or
otherwise!
Please contact us for a ball stop net solution for your club, and save yourself the
headaches of constantly chasing balls.
Alice Springs - NT Cricket
NT Cricket required a training facility in Alice Springs to cater for the growing club
involvement and the annual Imparja Cup tournament that takes place.
Two side-by-side 'postless' facilities were designed, engineered and installed to offer
options on both the turf and synthetic surfaces.
The postless facility allows for curators and coaches alike to move the lane netting
for both surface maintenance and training drills.
Gabba can design and install a cricket facility that covers your every need on a
custom basis.
