Whether it be spectator safety or player convenience, AFL and soccer netting is a great way of controlling incoming footballs. Gabba Sports Netting and Surfacing offers the supply, delivery and installation of behind-goal barrier netting, customised for your facility, from schools and sports clubs all the way to stadium fittings.
Our football netting is UV stabilised and purpose made for larger ball sports, with a larger mesh that reduces the overall weight of the material whilst maintaining durability. We custom-build all rigging and steelwork in-house to meet your needs:
- Height options of 9m, 12m, 15m and custom heights.
- Galvanised or powder coated steelwork finish.
- Rigging options for easy assembly and disassembly.
- Lockable net storage cabinets to protect nets from vandalism.

Net Storage Cabinets
We also offer custom made, powder coated, lockable storage cabinets. Net storage cabinets provide a secure location for your netting when not in use, enabling quick and easy set up and pack down of nets when required.
Cabinets are mounted directly to the netting posts and finished to match your steelwork, keeping nets protected from weather and vandalism between games.
Futsal Netting
In addition to behind-goal netting, we are also able to create perimeter and enclosure netting for indoor and outdoor futsal facilities. We recommend the use of our football netting as it is designed specifically for larger ball sports and, given the larger mesh size, is lighter weight, making it more practical for use on a larger scale. All steelwork is custom-made in-house and netting is custom fitted with the option of installing door slits if required.
